I honestly cannot recommend DJS enough! As a new company doing rubbish clearance I took a risk asking someone I was unfamiliar with as I know we all worry about fly tipping but I’m so glad I did! Dan and his helper Alfie were amazing. I had a nightmare move where my new house purchase didn’t complete on the same day as my house sale. I found myself with all my belongings needing to go into storage over the weekend and then move again on Monday. Dan and Alfie didn’t bat an eyelid when the goods needed to go to a new location last minute. They worked non stop, taking care with my things, late into the evening until the job was done. Hard recommend.
Dan was an absolute star. We had a challenging move from England to Northern Ireland in the middle of storm Floris and he proactively amended his plans as conditions changed (including which ferry to take, and moving our possessions between trucks!) in order to ensure he made the crossing on the scheduled date. He was professional and communicative throughout the process so we always knew what was going on, even when arrival timings were slightly delayed due to circumstances outside anyone's control. We would definitely use his services again, and would highly recommend him to anyone else moving house.

Crawley’s got a lot going for it if you’re thinking of relocating here. The transport links are brilliant, you can be in central London in under 40 minutes by train, Gatwick Airport’s practically next door, and the M23 gives you easy access to Brighton and the coast.
The town centre’s been massively redeveloped over recent years. County Mall and the surrounding shops cover most of what you’d need, and there’s a decent mix of restaurants and cafes dotted about. It’s not going to win awards for charm, but it’s practical and everything’s pretty accessible.
Schools are plentiful, you’ve got good primary and secondary options across different areas, plus Crawley College for further education. The Manor Royal business district is one of the biggest employment centres in the South East, so there’s no shortage of jobs locally.
For families, there are plenty of parks and green spaces once you get away from the main roads. Tilgate Park’s a favourite with its lake and nature centre, and you’re only a short drive from proper countryside and the Sussex Downs if you want to escape at weekends.
House prices sit somewhere in the middle compared to the rest of West Sussex – cheaper than somewhere like Horsham but you get good value for money. Mix of property types means there’s usually something available whether you’re a first-time buyer or looking for something bigger.
